He mensen, ik ga dus stage lopen op Curacao. Maar nou krijg ik een appartementje toegewezen aan de Bordetstraat in Otrabanda, alleen moet ik deze dan vijf maanden houden. Dit is dus een gok, omdat ik niet weet hoe groot de kamer is, waar die precies ligt en hoe die er uit ziet. Foto`s zijn er niet zeggen ze. Iemand een idee of het op een beetje een goede locatie ligt?

Nick mijn advies is om via bv Anneke e.d een appartement te huren en dan kan je altijd zelf verder kijken of je iets leuks kan vinden. Daar is het veilig en in van die rare straatjes daar moet ik persoonlijk niets van weten. Vooral als het de 1e keer is dat je naar Curacao gaat lijkt het mij verstandig om een iets veiligere plek te zoeken mo te gaan wonen. Als men geen foto`s heeft van het appartement e.d zou ik het niet zo vertrouwen, er is nl zooo 123 foto te maken met een digicam of telefoon. ADVIES : Neem die gok NIET ...

Hey Cynth, ik ben ontzettend benieuwd of je die straat kunt vinden, maar Otrabanda is dus niet geweldig en niet heel veilig? Lekker dan... Ja in het huurcontract staat dat het voor de periode 31 jan t/m 5 juli is en dat ik tussentijds niet kan opzeggen. Ik heb net het huurcontract gekregen, ik zal die mensen vragen om foto`s, een beschrijving van de ligging en vragen om de veiligheid. Als het voor een weekje is, is het al niet leuk, maar 5 maanden is iets heel anders. Bovendien kan het stageburo dit niet maken vind ik. Heeft Anneke iets in Punda dan, wat ook nog betaalbaar is voor een student? Dan heb ik daar eventueel ook wel interesse in ja. Ik wil na het stappen (in punda is dat toch!?) namelijk wel veilig naar huis kunnen in Otrabanda, dat is behoorlijk belangrijk.

echt stappen ga je niet in punda hoor dat is in de avond uitgestorven ,je zult echt een auto nodig hebben , om op mambo te kunnen komen enzovoort maar ik heb me gek zitten zoeken op de kaart ,ik kan die straat niet vinden het is ergens op C 6 DAT IS IN ELK GEVAL EEN STUK BUITEN DE STRAATJES BIJ DE BRUG

Ik kreeg net van de eigenaar van de woning te horen dat de Bordetstraat op het randje van Otrabanda en Mundo Nobo ligt, alleen weet ik dan weer niet waar Munda Nobo ligt. Het is in totaal ongeveer 9m2 en daar betaal ik 300 euro voor. Bovendien is Otrabanda inderdaad niet in de buurt van Mambo beach. En ook niet in de buurt van mijn stage in Zeelandia, dan ben ik dus verplicht om een auto aan te schaffen. Ik vind het prijzig en de ligging is ook nog eens verkeerd, dus dan ga ik verder kijken naar iets in Punda, of een andere wijk als iemand daar suggesties voor heeft. Hebben jullie nog tips om aan een kamer te komen?

Hay Nick naar veel rond vragen had ik tog iemand kunnen vinden die weet waar de straat ligt.Bordetstraat ligt achter de museum in Otrabanda.Volgens mijn invoormand waar de straat eigenlijk ligt is niet slecht.Nick weet je misschien de huisnummer dan kan ik zelf gaan kijken, om te weten hoe en wat. Van je stageplek moet je een openbaar vervoer nemen die rond rijdt en de chauffeur vragen om jou in Zeelandia te laten uitstappen. Als je kan stuur mij de huisnummer dan kan ik verder voor je kijken.Ik hoop dat ik jou geholpen hebt.

Nick je moet zeker een auto aanschaffen, want eigenlijk ben je meer in de Otrabanda.Het wordt moeilijk als je savond wil gaan uitstappen.Ga maar rond vragen of iemand je kan helpen voor een kamer of zo.Zodra ik iets nog hoor dan hoor je ook van me.
