hello everybody,
I`m sorry that write in English, but since I`m from Poland, my knowledge of Dutch is none. Your forum seems to be good place to ask if anybody knows which aircraft is beeing used by KLM in flights from Amsterdam to Curacao?
I`m going there with my wife and daughter in January and am wondering if it`ll be Boeing 747 or 777. It`s quite important for me because only the second one, as far as I know, has personal entertainment system for each passanger. It`s essential because of my 6 years old daughter who wouldn`t be interested in observation of pictures displayed on large screen hanging couple of meters away from her. If it happens that it`ll be Boeing 747, I have to take some extra games and toys for her...

ok, I`ve already found the answer - according to amadeus.net, it`s (unfortunately) Boeing 747 :-(

Business class has a personal entertainment system in the 747 :-)
Stop worrying and start planning a relaxed holidy. Where are y`all staying?

Within a few months KLM will not be flying with a 747 anymore to Curaçao. In January 2007 it will be a McDonnell-Douglas MD-11.

There using MC-Donnell Douglas MD-11
Who alsow have personal entertainment!!!
They are going to upgrade the plane with new comfortable seats and better entertainment!!
Since 2007 december was KLM going to upgrade the new system,but something was wrong(delayed)
Now is everything OK!! KLM new MD-11`s are upgrated with the new personal entertainment!!!!
Business Class and Economy Class!!!!!

Eerst hadden ze de B747 gebruikt en nu hebben wij de MD-11 met de nieuwe zitplaatsen en persoonlijke ``entertainment`` met Movies-ON DEMAND,GAMES EN FAVORITE CHANNELS
And my english sucks!!!!!

Movies on demand depends on a personal TV on the back of the seat in front of you. Some older MD11 don`t have that and there are a few TV`s on the ceiling, which you cannot manipulate for a personal choice.
