I am doing a preliminary investigation regarding relocation to Curacao. From talking to people on the island during my last vacation I found out that as a Dutch Citizen living in the US I don`t to worry to much about the legal formalities. Beside that I am planning on starting a business which will also work in my favor.
I am looking for some other information, mainly regarding the cost of living on the island. How much income does it require to live on the island I am interested in information about costs of renting (2 bedroom apartment), utilities (gas, water, electricity, phone, cable TV, food, car insurance, property taxes etc. How much does it cost to live a ``normal`` life on the island?
Also I am interested in finding information about schooling, medical care, real estate and employment opportunities.
